This design initiative envisions a triathlon path on Vinalhaven Island, seamlessly weaving through its diverse landscapes and culminating at a quarry set to be transformed into an archive. Rooted in a deep appreciation for the island’s distinct ecology, the architectural vision prioritizes the integration of its thriving flora. By thoughtfully incorporating these botanical elements, the project ensures that both the path and archival space harmonize with the island’s natural environment. This holistic approach not only creates a dynamic and immersive triathlon experience but also imbues the archive with a narrative intrinsically connected to the island’s vibrant plant life.
